Q: You are in the Australian bush, is it dangerous?
A: Like any natural area in any part of the world there are always dangers. For our international guests, the media is often focused on sensational news and unfortunately it often only presents the dangers of Australian wildlife, such as snakes, spiders and dingoes. They are a natural part of the Australian environment and rarely seen.
On arrival we will discuss the local forests and native wildlife and any potential dangers. Rest assured, your stay is bound to be a safe one. We have no crocodiles in this part of the sub-tropics, but plenty of native kangaroos and beautiful native birds. At night, you may even see native possums in the trees and bandicoots digging for food in the surrounding grounds. In summer, a good natural insect repellent is recommended, however we have very few mosquitoes.
